The Red Routemaster Double Decker Bus has become an iconic image of London. Introduced in the 1950s and manufactured until 1968 the Routemaster may still be seen on selected routes like the no9. In 2011 a new version of the Routemaster was unveiled by the London Mayor Boris Johnson.
